Play Animal Transform Race Online – Free Animal Racing Game for Kids
Animal Transform Race is a free animal racing game for kids where you don't just run, you change animals. The track keeps changing between grass, stairs, water and ice, and the winner is the racer who picks the right animal for each part. Race alone against three computer animals, or challenge a friend on the same keyboard in 2 player mode. It runs right in your browser, with nothing to download.
What Is Animal Transform Race?
It's a colorful 3D racing game with a twist: during the race, you can transform into 13 different animals. Each animal is fast in one place and slow in another. A dolphin zooms through water but struggles on land, while a monkey climbs stairs in seconds. So winning is less about clicking faster and more about thinking faster.
Along the way, you collect balloons in your lane for extra points. In the higher levels, traps and obstacles appear, so choosing the right animal matters even more.
How to Play
- Start the race. You and three animal rivals line up, each in your own lane.
- Watch the track ahead. When the ground changes to water, stairs, ice or a long straight road, get ready.
- Transform. Switch to the animal that is fastest on that part of the track.
- Collect balloons. Grab the balloons in your lane for bonus points.
- Finish first. Cross the finish line before the others to win and unlock the next race.

Tablet tip: single player works with touch. For 2 player mode you need a keyboard, so play it on a computer or laptop.
Meet All 13 Animals
Every animal in the race is based on a real animal skill, which makes the game a fun way for kids to discover how animals move.
| Animal | Real-life skill | Where it helps in the race |
|---|---|---|
| Monkey | Climbs trees with its hands and feet | Fastest up stairs |
| Horse | One of the fastest runners on land | Straight roads |
| Goat | Climbs steep, rocky mountains | Straight roads |
| Rabbit | Strong back legs for big hops | Jumping high over obstacles |
| Dolphin | A fast, smooth swimmer | Water sections |
| Penguin | Can't fly, but slides on its belly over ice | Icy tracks |
| Duck | Can walk, swim and fly | Try it and find out! |
| Eagle | Soars high with huge wings and sharp eyes | Try it and find out! |
| Wolf | Runs long distances with its pack | Try it and find out! |
| Elephant | The biggest and strongest land animal | Try it and find out! |
| Hippo | Spends most of the day in water | Try it and find out! |
| Giraffe | The tallest animal in the world | Try it and find out! |
| Snake | Moves without legs by sliding its body | Try it and find out! |
Tips to Win Every Race
- Look ahead, not at your animal. Spot the next section early so you're ready to switch.
- Switch right as the new ground starts. Too early and you're slow on the part before it; too late and your rivals pull away.
- Go back to a runner on plain roads. After water or stairs, switch to the horse or the goat.
- Grab every balloon in your lane. Each racer has their own balloons, so collect all of yours for extra points.
- Use the rabbit near traps. In higher levels, a high jump gets you over danger.
- Test every animal once. Try each one on each surface, and you'll quickly remember who's fastest where.
2 Player Mode: Race a Friend
In 2 player mode, the screen splits in two, so each player sees their own racer while you both run on the same tracks. Player 1 switches animals with A, S and D, and Player 2 uses J, K and L. It's perfect for brothers and sisters, playdates, or a parent-versus-kid race.
What Kids Learn
- Animal knowledge: the names of 13 animals and how each one moves.
- Decision-making: picking the right animal for each surface.
- Reaction time: switching at exactly the right moment.
- Planning ahead: looking at what's coming instead of only what's in front.
- Fair play: taking turns and racing a friend in 2 player mode.
Tips for Parents
- Talk about the animals. Asking "Why is the dolphin fast in water?" turns a race into a mini science lesson.
- Play together. Younger kids love racing a grown-up in 2 player mode.
- Help little ones. Children under 5 can play single player with an adult helping them choose animals.
- Keep it short. A few races, then a break, keeps it fun.
